Original Blog Post: May 12, 2009- Oofta . . .

Yesterday was our marathon-doctor day.  Six hours of hurrying from one appointment to the next, waiting for our turn, short cat naps, and a lot of poking and prodding.  Through it all our little champ smiled, cooed, giggled and squealed as he got more and more tired.  What a trooper!

The results are in: his ventricles have not changed size so we have hit on the correct number on his shunt, at least for now, he's healthy and amazing so no more neurosurgical visits until November when he will have an MRI as a base-line for any future issues, he needs to see an eye doctor as a precaution for some issues SB kids can have, he gets to do another neumogram (sleep/breath test) but this time at home because of some breathing stuff he's been having off and on, and his circumcision/exploration is scheduled for May 20.

Needless to say, this is a down day in our household.  Lots of naps, lots of storytime, a few videos, we all look a little bleary eyed.
